As the route of the race runs through a highly protected natural forest reserve, maintained by the Pilis Forestry, the route can only be visited a month before the race, on the field trial organised by the forestry itself. The date of field trials will be available on the Crosskovácsi homepage fro may 2011. You can agree on the attendance on the forum, or contact the organisers via László Paulovits (+36 20 9 265-359).

Please protect nature during the field trial. Don’t litter, don’t leave the designated route, and take extra care of the native turf as they are part of the area’s natural resource. During the field trial gullies, shavings, leftovers from logging, deep grooves made by vehicles may occur. These will all be repaired by the time of the race, but they can be potential sources of accident.

Therefore we ask you to ride in a slower tour pace for the sake of your and the hikers safety. If you notice a place that is potentially dangerous, requires increased attention or needs extra warning on the route, please let us know by email on the forum and/or notify Paulovits Laci.
